Beware bargain hunters, you have not found one. This package arrives fast and looks just like the picture, so all is well, but infact it is JUST like the picture aka only 2 batteries, not 12. The yypo has been here for over a year since I fell for this and ordered the unbelievably low-priced 12-pack in 2008. Just move on.
They are batteries. There are four of them. They have a pink bunny on them.A+++++ Would do business again
Use these batteries before their expiration date. Obviously, you can use them in anything that requires AA size batteries but they probably won't last quite as long as they really should. These AA size batteries last noticeably longer than the store brand AA battery; but they just don't quite measure up to Duracell AA batteries. When the batteries corrode a whitish powdery sticky substance begins to leak out of them and this makes a mess--trust me.
But don't let that scare you away--you can certainly still use these in your portable CD player to listen to music. Energizer makes some pretty good AA size batteries; and these batteries will work when you need them. The expiration date will usually be at least a year or two away; but some people still have them lying around in a dresser drawer anyway. Overall, Energizer makes some of the better AA size batteries; but I still prefer my Duracells. You can open the package from the back and just take out the batteries as you need them, and of course that's a plus.
The problem with letting the batteries simply lie around loose is that not only could the batteries lose their potency; they will also inevitably begin to corrode if you wait long enough to use them. If you can grab a sale on these, however, consider buying them--after all, maybe for your needs they will give you longer service than they gave me. They're not bad; it's just that I think Duracell is somewhat better and more long-lasting. Do NOT dispose of these near a fire; and don't ever place these in a fire. That way the package also serves to neatly store the unused batteries until you need them.
The batteries remaining inside the package won't get dusty or much exposure to the elements if you're outside camping or something. They could literally explode.
Beware the ridiculous shipping charge since it came from a different location than the toy I purchased. Definitely not worth what it ended up costing.
There is nothing to say about batteries. Just thought it would be fun to write a battery review.
